TSI GIVES BACK
All proceeds from TSI’s Annual Golf tournament go to support Shriners Hospital for Children-St. Louis. This event has raised over $110,000 for the organization over the years. Since 1924, Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis’s board-certified surgeons and staff have been providing high-quality pediatric orthopedic care to children, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. Shriner’s Hospitals specialize in treating children with orthopedic conditions in an environment designed to put children at ease. Every member of their team, from surgeons and therapists to nurses and prosthetists, work together to ensure the best course of treatment for each patient.
2020 was a rollercoaster for everybody, but we didn’t want that to get in the way of helping the children. That is why we took our tournament virtual last year to keep the streak going. To learn about the Virtual Swing for Shriner’s Children fundraiser click here.
This year we are scheduled to have our 29th Annual TSI Golf Tournament as have every other year in the past. The event will be on September 16th. If you want to learn more about our golf tournament, or you want to donate yourself, click here.
Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses features three-round boxing matches between area police offices and firefighters. The event raises money for The Backstoppers, an organization that provides immediate and long-term financial aid as well as other support to the families of police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty. TSI has provided sponsorship and employee volunteering to help with the event. Check out their Facebook page here.
We are proud to be able to donate and integrate Saint Louis University’s new esports gaming lab. Esports is a new type of gaming that is growing more and more popular in the collegiate world. We were able to help give SLU an edge by installing 12 gaming stations for computer gaming, and three large TV monitors for gaming consoles like PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
